We're looking for a dedicated, positive ice cream lover to join our Rain or Shine family as a Scooper! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a welcoming team environment.

Key responsibilities:

Customer Service

• Greet every customer warmly and create a welcoming experience.

• Share product knowledge .

• Thank customers and express genuine enthusiasm for their visit.

Till & Payments

• Confidently handle credit/debit, cash, and gift card transactions.

• Issue gift cards for customers upon request.

Scooping & Waffle Cones/Tacos

• Scoop ice cream with consistent size and weight for every customer.

• Fulfill allergy requests accurately and with care.

• Make high-quality waffle cones and waffle tacos.

• Keep the front of house pint freezer fully stocked.

Store Cleanliness & Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store.

• Stock front-of-house with packaging, ice cream, cones, and toppings.

• Manage dishwashing, laundry, and garbage/recycling regularly.

Health & Food Safety

• Uphold food safety standards: proper handwashing, hair restrained, and disposal of expired product.

• Prevent cross-contamination by following product handling procedures.

• Practice FIFO (first in, first out) to minimize waste and ensure freshness.

Teamwork & Communication

• Communicate openly with shift leaders and managers - share ideas, concerns, and break times.

• Support the production team during slower periods as needed.

• Be proactive: identify store needs and ask what else can be done.

• Hold yourself and your teammates accountable in a supportive, friendly way.

Requirements:

• Customer service or front-of-house experience

• Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor

• Enthusiasm for learning and trying new things

• Flexibility to work day or evening shifts

• Availability to work at least 2 shifts per week from Friday-Sunday
